No representation of the Whitsundays can be complete without its signature sight – the seemingly never-ending coruscating white sands of Whitehaven Beach on Whitsunday Island which is the largest of the nearly 75 islands that make up the Whitsundays, many of which are covered by the namesake National Park.  The islands and surrounding waters are also part of the Great Barrier Reef World Heritage Area.  This Composition features the incredible natural playground that the Whitsundays are world famous as being, and getting there by seaplane is a delight in itself.   Just a few miles away lies Daydream Island, another laid-back Whitsunday gem, where ‘roos indulge themselves to their heart’s delight on the lush topical vegetation.  And there isn’t a more iconic Great Barrier Reef view to be had than that over Heart Reef whose natural charms are best enjoyed from above.
