Fiji’s Southern Splendor —Viti Levu and Kadavu … Artwork Inspiration
The breathtaking Momi Bay and Natadola Harbour which both lie on Viti Levu’s southwest coast are considered be two of the most iconic visual delights of the island. All the way north across the island is located the phenomenally photogenic traditional Fijian village of Navala, which completely contrasts with all that is modern in the resorts on the coast. Approaching Navala which is widely regarded as showcasing one of Fiji’s premier traditional villagescapes, one could be forgiven to believe they had walked onto a movie set, where aesthetically set perfect rows of majestic bures rise dramatically above exquisitely manicured grounds. With a similar idea in mind, Momi Bay features a cornucopia of reincarnated traditional Fijian bure dwellings in an ultra-modern setting. This Composition also features a graceful manta ray ballet over a cleaning station off the shore of Ono island.
