This composition features a sunrise over Nambung’s pinnacles set against the tortuous twists and turns of the Shark Bay coast and islands. Whale Sharks are frequently spotted off the Ningaloo Coast and that cutest reptile of all – the Thorny Devil makes its home amongst the shrublands of Francois Peron National Park, which is part of Shark Bay’s expansive World Heritage Area. Bathed in the golden glow of the nascent sun, Nambung’s fantastical towers contrast with this desert landscape’s varying shades of ochre and red, creating a smorgasbord of color.
